From 1998 to 2003, Mr. McCabe was Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Condor Technology Solutions, Inc., a publicly held information technology company.
Prior to joining Condor in 1998, Mr. McCabe was Corporate Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of BDM International Inc., a professional and technical services firm and Fortune 1000 company.
Before joining BDM in 1980, Mr. McCabe was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a mortgage banking holding company in Washington, DC.
Mr. McCabe started his career at the law firm of Thacher, Proffitt & Wood, Esqs., 40 Wall Street, New York, NY.
Mr. McCabe received a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law; an MBA in Finance from J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University; and a BS in Business Administration from Northwestern University.
He held various offices with the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association, Inc., including serving as a member of its Board from 1989-1998 and as President from 1992- 1993.
From 2007 to 2014, Mr. McCabe was a member of the Board of Directors of Great Falls Foundation for the Arts, Inc. (GFFFTA), a foundation whose mission is to provide art education, affordable studio spaces for local artists, and a gallery for regional artists. At GFFFTA, John helped establish in 2007 the Great Falls School of Art, which has a range of class offerings in the visual arts, and in 2013 had over 170 students.
John has studios in Great Falls, Virginia and Milford, Connecticut. He and his wife, Peggy, have four children.
