Ryan T. Anderson, Ph.D., is the President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Appointed by President Trump to the Religious Liberty Commission in May 2025, his research has been cited by Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas. He is the author or co-author of five books, including Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing, and When Harry Became Sally.
Anderson earned his B.A. magna cum laude from Princeton University and his Ph.D. in political philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. A former senior research fellow at The Heritage Foundation, he serves as the John Paul II Teaching Fellow at the University of Dallas and holds fellowships at Princeton and The Catholic University of America, and was a Visiting Fellow at Franciscan University. His writing appears regularly in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and leading academic journals, and he has made numerous appearances on major television networks.
Stephen D. Pryor’s distinguished 43-year career, culminating as President of ExxonMobil Chemical Company, is defined by exceptional leadership and a deep care for others. Guided by his Catholic faith, he has helped to create pathways to higher education and career advancement on several boards, including as Chairman of Catholic International University.
In celebration of those who shape a culture of faith and freedom, Catholic International is honored to present Mr. Pryor with this year’s Founder’s Award, recognizing his lifelong dedication to communicating the heart and mind of the Church in business, family, diocesan and civic life.
Jacqueline is the CEO and Principal consultant of Sovereign Global Solutions, an international public affairs firm with a niche focus on international human rights and religious freedom. Through the course of her career, she has worked to defend life, religious freedom and marriage in the public square. She has served in senior executive positions at the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and the Office of the Governor of Virginia. She is a founding board member and organizer of the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast and an advisor to the Political Network for Values, Nasarean.org, the Society of St. Peter the Apostle, one of the four Pontifical Mission Societies, and the Museum of the Bible. She and her husband Greg are active members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville, Virginia.
