About Mark Amelang, EdD

Dr. Mark B. Amelang is a professional educator and administrator. He
currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications
for Catholic International University and is a faculty member in the
Ecclesial Administration and Management department. Dr. Amelang
holds a doctorate in Ethical Leadership from the University of St.
Thomas, an Executive MBA in International Business from Our Lady of
the Lake University, and a B.S. in Huaman Resources Management
from New School University.

Dr. Amelang teaches leadership and business at the undergraduate
and graduate levels. Prior to joining Catholic International University, Dr. Amelang served as the Director of Graduate Programs at the Cameron School of Business at the University of St. Thomas and as the Chair of the General Business Program for the Kolbe School of Innovation and Professional Services at the University of St. Thomas Houston. Dr. Amelang spent thirty years running large global organizations, including marketing and communications organizations. He has lived and worked all over the world, including several countries in Africa, the Former Soviet Union, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. His last job in industry was running the marketing and sales organization for a multinational energy company, where he was responsible for $1B in annual revenue.
