Populi Account

Setup Guide

Login to Populi

  • Click on the link you received to set up your password.
  • Populi is the system you will use to view student announcements, register for classes, view your final grades, request transcripts, etc.
  • Get familiar with the various features in Populi.

Access your Email

  • It is very important that you monitor your CatholicIU email for important communications from faculty and staff.
  • You can get to your email directly from the Email link in Populi or you can browse to gmail.com and enter your email address.

Set up your Laptop

  • Review the Catholic International laptop requirements.
  • Make sure you have a reliable, broadband internet connection.
  • Ensure that your laptop has an anti-virus installed.
  • Back up your data regularly.

Install Software

  • Install Zoom on your laptop for synchronous class meetings.
  • Install Adobe Acrobat Reader to read .pdf class resources.
  • Create a Microsoft 365 account using your student email and get free access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint online.
