Setup Guide

Login to Populi

Click on the link you received to set up your password.
Populi is the system you will use to view student announcements, register for classes, view your final grades, request transcripts, etc.
Get familiar with the various features in Populi.

Access your Email

It is very important that you monitor your CatholicIU email for important communications from faculty and staff.
You can get to your email directly from the Email link in Populi or you can browse to gmail.com and enter your email address.

Set up your Laptop

Review the Catholic International laptop requirements.
Make sure you have a reliable, broadband internet connection.
Ensure that your laptop has an anti-virus installed.
Back up your data regularly.

Install Software

Install Zoom on your laptop for synchronous class meetings.
Install Adobe Acrobat Reader to read .pdf class resources.
Create a Microsoft 365 account using your student email and get free access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint online.
