Scott M. Hamberger is an entrepreneur, investor, board member, and
philanthropist whose personal and professional mission is to increase
human flourishing through the vocation of business and innovative growth.
With over 30 years of mission-driven leadership experience, Scott is a
skilled strategic thinker and planner. He has deep experience in all of the
key elements necessary for successful business growth: governance,
business development strategy, business processes, infrastructure, and
capital.
Scott founded his first business, Fortessa Tableware Solutions, in 1993 while still in college,
which he led from a garage start-up to global leadership within its industry and an approximate
$100mm enterprise value. In 2022, Scott collaborated to lead the successful merger of Fortessa
with Zwiesel Kristallglas of Germany to create a group with over $200mm in revenue and 1000
employees.
Following that merger, Scott has followed a new path in pursuit of his mission. Scott continues
his entrepreneurial passion with various businesses, including a highly innovative hydro-
aeroponic greenhouse operation, a hospitality business, as well as livestock and other
agricultural ventures. Scott invests in start-ups and micro-caps, leveraging his experience and
belief in business as a social good to support other entrepreneurs.
Scott currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Eagle Financial Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:EFSI),
Catholic International University, the Religious Freedom Institute, and the Economic
Development Authority of Loudoun County. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Bolte
School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University. Scott is past Chairman of the Loudoun
