Fr. Luis Navarro was Full Professor in Canon Law at the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce, Rome. Since october 2024 he is Professor Emeritus. He has been Dean of the School of Canon Law and Rector of the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce.
A Member of the Holy See’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life (Vatican City), he has been President of the Conference of Rectors of the Roman Pontifical Universities (2021-2024).
Fr. Luis Navarro publishes books and articles on Associations of the Christian Faithful, Ecclesial Movements and New Communities, Clergy and Lay Faithful. He speaks at academic and professional conferences in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. He is visiting professor at San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University (Madrid).
