• Born in Raleigh, NC. March 28th 1956
• Faculty Member of the School of Theology of the Pont. University of the Holy Cross (Rome). Currently holds the Chair of Ecclesiology as full-time Professor.
• In the University of the Holy Cross he has held the positions of Dean of the School of Theology, Academic Deputy Rector, Deputy Rector, Deputy Dean of Theology, Academic Dean of Theology
• Catholic Priest incardinated in the Prelature Opus Dei, from October 2024 Rector of the Basilica Sant’Apollinare (Rome) and Chaplain of the University of the Holy Cross. Previously he has been Rector of the Church of Saint Gerome (Rome), Deputy Director of the Center for the Formation of Priests, Spiritual Director of the Residenza Sacerdotale Tiberino, among other pastoral duties.
• Holds a Doctorate from the Pont. University of the Holy Cross in Dogmatic Theology. Since 1994 he has held courses on Ecclesiology, Ecumenism, Priesthood, Sacraments, Mariology and Pastoral Theology, for Bachelor and Master Degree. He has been first supervisor of 30 doctoral thesis in Theology
