Jim Lundholm-Eades has been a leader in the field of Catholic Church administration, in Catholic education and in Catholic social services for 50 years in both Australia and the United States. He holds graduate degrees in Educational Administration, Pastoral Counseling, Family Counseling and Business Administration. He is certified in the Catholic Standards for Excellence (Standards for transparency and accountability for Catholic organizations) and Catholic Leadership 360 (Catholic leadership development) and has been a Minnesota licensed teacher and school district superintendent.
Jim has been published in professional journals multiple times, including America, Homiletic and Pastoral Review and The Priest in fields related to best practices in Church leadership, planning, and administration. He is the author of chapters in books related to Church management including both editions of The Pastors Toolbox.
Jim served in senior roles in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for 17 years
before taking the position of Director of Programs and Services for Leadership
Roundtable, a non-profit organization founded to serve the Church by promoting best practices in Church Management and Administration as well as standards of
accountability and transparency in the US Church after revelations of the sex abuse
scandals in 2003. He is currently a senior consultant for Leadership Roundtable. His
work has included assisting bishops and major superiors of religious congregations in making change in both practices and culture in their dioceses and archdioceses and provinces in the US, coaching bishops and cardinals in the US Church in diocesan administration, a role that took him into over 120 dioceses and archdioceses in the US.
He has taught church management in the Program for Church Management at the
Pontifical University of Santa Croce in Rome.
