Emily Yang, serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the University. Dr. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from George Mason University, an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BS and Masters in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She comes to us with over 20 years of emerging market investment experience. During this time, she held senior positions at the International Financial Corporation (IFC), the Asian Development Bank, and Orient Securities, among others. Her work has focused on agribusiness (crop & animal production, dairy, oil, sugar, beverage, food processing, forestry, irrigation, agri-trade finance) and the rest in retail, tourism, properties, and fund of funds. She has extensive international experience, having worked in Eastern & Central Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. She currently serves as an Advisor to the Navigators New York City Advisory Counsel.
