About Aaron Urbanczyk, PhD

Dr. Aaron Urbanczyk holds a PhD in English from Florida State University, an M.A. in Philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, and a B.A. in English from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He has taught at Southern Catholic College, Ave Maria University, and Baylor University.

His teaching and research interests include: the great books of Western civilization, Literary Theory and Criticism, Dante, Shakespeare, ancient Greek literature & philosophy, and the Philosophy of the Human Person.

Dr. Urbanczyk’s numerous essays and reviews have appeared in Religion & the Arts, the St. Austin Review, The Intercollegiate Review, Modern Age, Essays in Arts & Sciences, Papers on Language & Literature, the Journal for Cultural & Religious Theory, Perspectives in Religious Studies, The Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Quarterly, The Catholic Thing, and the Ignatius Critical Editions of Frankenstein, The Scarlet Letter, and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Dr. Urbanczyk and his wife and six children live in Nashville, TN.
