To meet the updated TCCBED Guidelines, PreK-8 Catholic School Teachers of Religion must fulfill “150 clock hours of undergraduate-level coursework appropriately distributed among courses in Catholic doctrine, Sacred Scripture, morality/social justice and sacraments/liturgy…[consisting of] online, non-credit courses offered by an accredited Catholic University.” Successful completion of the following Catholic International non-credit Independent study courses fulfills TCCBED Certification Requirements for PreK-8 Teachers of Religion in Catholic Schools and Certification in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

The individual will print two copies of the completion certificate(s):
1. One copy for their school principal in order to receive partial
reimbursement for the purchase price
2. One copy for the Office of the Superintendent of Schools/Office of Evangelization and Catechesis

The individual submits the Catholic International Continuing Education certificate(s) of completion, along with the application for certification and other required documents to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools
