Catholic International provides an opportunity for students to take individual courses without enrolling in a full academic program. Whether you’re looking to update a teaching certification, supplement your studies at another institution, or deepen your knowledge of Catholic theology, you can access undergraduate and graduate courses designed to meet your educational needs. These courses maintain the same rigorous standards in assignments, testing, and tuition as those taken by degree-seeking students. To enroll in an undergraduate course, you must submit proof of high school graduation, a GED, or college transcripts. For graduate courses, a transcript showing a completed undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required. Courses successfully completed may later be applied toward a Catholic International degree program.
High school students enrolling in THEO 280/PHIL 260 or THEO 281/PHIL 261 by special arrangement are subject to different tuition rates.
Admission requirements vary for high school juniors and seniors interested in these courses. For more information, contact Admissions at admissions@catholiciu.edu
Catholic International provides three-credit courses across six academic terms each year, offering a flexible asynchronous format that allows students to access their course materials anytime. Weekly lessons, interactive discussions, and a final exam form the foundation of each course, with many also requiring a term paper. Exams are conducted via an online proctoring service, necessitating a computer with a camera and microphone. Catholic International’s innovative course room design fosters an engaging learning experience by encouraging interaction between professors and peers, creating a dynamic virtual classroom environment.
