By exploring the nature, methods, and mission of theology, students will be formed in the vision and habits to enable them for deeper theological work. This course examines how to pursue theological studies from the mind and heart of the Church by exploring themes such as the centrality of God and revelation, faith and reason, liturgy and prayer, and the vocation of the theologian. Students who complete this course will possess a strong foundation for the study of Catholic theology and develop the skills needed for theological and academic excellence.
