What are the key characteristics of a Catholic education? This course provides a systematic presentation of the historical development of the Church’s magisterium with regard to education, situated within the Church’s understanding of the human person and human society. Students will also explore how these principles can strengthen a school’s Catholic identity and guide their relationship with parents and the broader community, and apply these principles to diverse educational approaches and trends in instruction and assessment and the use of technology, among other topics.
