Graduates of the AA degree program may wish to further their education at Belmont Abbey College, which accepts all Catholic International University coursework. Those choosing to major in Theology, History, or other disciplines in the Humanities can finish in two years. Those seeking a baccalaureate degree in Professional Studies, Social Sciences, Mathematics, or Biological Sciences will be required to complete additional credit hours. Catholic International University courses in ethics, morality, and foreign languages count towards general or major electives for the baccalaureate degree.
Students who graduate with at least a 3.0 GPA from a graduate program at Catholic International University are eligible for fast-track admission to the University of Saint Mary of the Lake’s Doctor of Ministry Program.
Students who have completed certificate programs through the Instituto de Liderazgo Pastoral at the University of St. Mary of the Lake are eligible for streamlined admissions to Catholic International University’s Spanish-language Associate of Arts program in Theology with a concentration in Catholic Social Teaching. Deacons and other certificate holders from USML programs are eligible for simplified admissions to Catholic International University’s Bachelor of Arts degree program in Theology.
Fast-track admission means that no application fees or letters of recommendation are required.
Graduates of Catholic International University’s AA degree program may choose to further their education at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, which offers 40 undergraduate degree programs and an honors program, service learning, and study abroad.
AA degree graduates with GPAs of 2.5 or higher may transfer courses with a grade of C or better. Those wishing to apply to the University of St. Thomas should submit an application, official Catholic International University transcript, official transcripts from all universities attended, and a personal statement of between 250 and 500 words.
Graduates of the AA degree program may wish to further their education at Mount St. Mary’s University! A baccalaureate degree can be obtained within two years for most undergraduate majors. Majors in science and education would require additional credit hours beyond two years.
Graduates of the AA and BA degree programs are welcome to further their education at APUS! All undergraduate credits earned at Catholic International University are transferrable to the BA degree program in APUS’ School of Arts and Humanities. Students seeking a BA degree in the university’s other schools may need to take additional lower-level courses as specified in APUS’ degree requirements. Fifteen credits earned in Catholic International University graduate coursework are also transferrable to the’ MA in Humanities Program.
Graduates of Catholic International University’s AA degree program with a GPA of 2.8 or higher who have not matriculated at any other institution of higher education are guaranteed transfer admission to Shepherd University. A maximum of 72 credit hours transferred from Catholic International University are allowed toward fulfillment of the 120 credit hours required for baccalaureate completion.
Students who have completed two-year AA programs at John Paul the Great College in Belize are eligible for streamlined admissions to Catholic International’s BA programs and can transfer up to 60 credits toward a four-year degree.
Educators who have completed ICLE’s Catholic Educator Formation and Credential program—while actively teaching in a K–12 setting—are eligible to receive up to 12 graduate credits toward Catholic International’s Master of Arts in Liberal Arts Education.
