This program provides parishes, priests, deacons, and lay leaders with the education needed to put Catholic Social Teaching (CST) into practice through ministries of charity that transform lives and inspire parishioners to actively participate in God’s work through the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. Students will gain a deep understanding of the sources of CST, identify and articulate its principles as outlined in key magisterial documents, and apply these principles to analyze and address contemporary social issues. By integrating CST into ministerial practices, graduates are prepared to identify and respond effectively to the unique needs of various constituencies, fostering meaningful change in their communities.
